Omani Luban with Oud Wood Chips - Soaked Frankincense

Omani Luban sap is collected from the trees of the wild desert land of Oman.

Omani Luban (Frankincense) is known as a sticky substance that comes by pouring the tree or scraping its outer shell to reveal a sticky liquid and when this substance is exposed to air it dries up in the form of a crystalline gum known as frankincense Luban. When tapping, the first resin to be harvested is Green Hojari followed by yellow, orange, and finally black, the final stage of harvest. Then it is used as incense, by placing it in a censer (incense burner), in which the Luban melts down into a citrus color that is almost white.
AmirOud Omani Luban is a very distinctive and sophisticated mixture made by Amir Oud. Frankincense Luban is soaked with aromatic Oud oil, then some Oud wood chips are added to it, which gives the frankincense Luban a special unique deep smell, making it one of Amir Oud’s favorites!

How to use it:
Light up charcoal and place it in an incense (bakhoor) burner (it can be a traditional mabkhara, a modern designed incense burner, or any type,) as long as you are able to place the hot coal.
Then put a little piece of Luban onto the hot coal and let the smoke fragrance at the room.
You can also make fumigation, meaning perfuming yourself and your clothes with it by leaving the Luban incense (bakhoor) burner next to you for 30 to 60 seconds as it spreads around you.
