How to Burn Chinese Bakhoor

  1. Place a charcoal disc inside a heat resistant mabkhara or incense burner.
  2. Carefully light the charcoal using tongs.
  3. Wait until a light layer of gray ash forms across the charcoal.
  4. Place one small Chinese Bakhoor wood chip on top.
  5. Add another small piece only if you prefer a stronger fragrance.
  6. Allow the charcoal and burner to cool completely after use.

For an electric oud burner, place a small piece in the designated heating area and follow the burner manufacturer’s instructions.

Safety Information: Use only in a well ventilated area. Keep the burner on a stable, heat resistant surface and away from children, pets, fabrics, drafts, and flammable materials. Never leave burning incense unattended. For aromatic use only. Do not ingest.
