Ruh El Misk blend or as some places refer to this musk as (Alhaji Musk) is also well known as, Kasturi Musk, is an earthy musk that originated from India.

Ruh El Misk blend is well known for it's earthy, musty and creamy scent. It is a woody and musky fragrance that is combined with spicy notes such as, nutmeg, and black pepper that give a spicy top note to the blend. The heavy scent is followed by woody-milky sandalwood harmonized with patchouli in the heart. The base is closed by vanilla bean and dry musks.

Ruh El Misk blend is a layered musk that emits beautiful aromas at each base when worn.

Unexpected surprise

As you know making a purchase scent unknown can be tricky. however, the description is what got my attention, so I ordered it. I am pleasantly surprised. This scent is unique and NOT a heavy musk smell which is what I like. It stands out on my skin, and I love the way it lingers in the atmosphere.

It’s nice

I like it, but it wasn’t what I expected. It is described as “Earthy” when in reality it is very sweet. It smells different to me each time I wear it. At first it reminded me of a more natural honey with hints of wild flowers. Yesterday I wore it and the dry down reminded me of dark chocolate. In the air it’s very pleasant, though. Would I buy it again? I don’t know. I was hoping for something more patchouli dominant. That’s very earthy! I like it, though. It’s growing on me!
