Matching Perfume With Your Personality

Your personality is made up of many things from where you have lived, the cultures you have lived in, the environment, genetics, memories, and more.  How you were treated growing up is another big factor in your personality.   Many people have different personalities when in different situations as well.  Perhaps you are a professional and of course, maintain that level of professional behavior but are silly and fun outside of the office.  Scents are something that we associate with people, places, and things.  A smell can be very empowering and very different for each person.  While one might find the smell of the sea enjoyable and relaxing, another may have had a bad sea experience and hate that scent.  

It is really hard to find a scent that is perfect for every aspect of you. Which is why it is recommended to have a few perfume scents that match your various personalities and situations.  

The Extrovert

If you are an extrovert, you are the life of the party.  You get your energy from being around people.  At work, you are the star of the show and typically are high energy and dynamic who can strike up a conversation about anything with anyone.  You love people and need to be around people.  This sort of personality typically pairs up with a floral scent.

The Introvert

You would prefer to stay home then go out and be around people.  People exhaust you and although you love your family and friends, they complain you stay out home too much and need more socialization.  You love to be home where things are quiet.  At work, you are the quiet one in the corner with your headphones on cranking out whatever it is that you need to complete.  Your co-workers love you as you work effortlessly but know little about you.  Your perfume note is woody, Oriental, or Heavy florals.

Ambivert with Introverted tendencies

You are a peacemaker and want harmony and control in your world.  You want others to be a peace and understand people's boundaries. This type of person often has a wardrobe that is filled with style and sophistication.  Your perfect notes are are green notes, musks, and light florals.

Ambivert with extrovert tendencies

You are ready for the challenges that life has to offer.  You are the type that takes the world by the tail and gets whatever needs to be done complete.  This personality type will act on impulse and take risks but don't dwell on failure for too long.  A romantic at heart will show the introverted side of you.  Your notes should be Citrus, fruity-floral, and aquatic. 

Take some time to determine which personality you are.  Maybe you are a combination but maybe not.  Whatever your personality is, embrace it, it is who you are and you can't change it.  Everyone is different but that is why we love the world we live in.  Love yourself, give yourself some slack and remember we all have good and bad days.
